Founded in the early 1990's, the Cheshire
County Domestic Violence Council (CCDVC) is a collaboration
of members from the criminal justice system, program providers
and local citizens whose goal is to develop a consistent multidisciplinary
approach to domestic violence education and prevention.
CCDVC is comprised of community members
who represent a wide array of
disciplines and organizations that include law enforcement,
Cheshire County Attorney's Office, New Hampshire Public Defenders
Program, Monadnock Family Services, mental health providers,
Division of Children, Youth and Families, Monadnock Center
for Violence Prevention, Cheshire County House of Corrections
and NH Department of Correction, All Our Kids Visitation Center,
Samaritans, Keene State College and concerned citizens.
With support of a VAWA Subgrant,
CCDVC has created this educational website and co-sponsors
