As a community based organization, the Cheshire County Domestic
Violence Council (CCDVC) strives to participate in cooperative
educational events with other community organizations such as
Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention, Public Schools and
Universities, All Our Kids Visitation Center and community providers.
This collaboration not only fosters greater knowledge in our
community but also creates strong supportive relationships between
educators and providers.
The
CCDVC believes that developing community based initiatives
surrounding domestic violence is the most effective way to
reach, educate and provide valuable information and resources
to our community as a whole and to those individuals in need
of services and/or education.
Our goal is to provide knowledge that
will lead to a better understanding, which will aid in the
movement to end the violence that is raging in so many homes.
